(Undated) -- A mechanical issue that caused a United Airlines flight to be diverted is now under investigation. A United flight from Hawaii to Guam was diverted to the remote island of Midway late Thursday night after a burning smell filled the plane. The captain reportedly told passengers there were electrical problems in the cockpit and the radar had gone out. A replacement plane picked up the passengers on Midway island and returned them safely to Honolulu.
