(Austin, TX) -- Texas Governor Rick Perry is facing charges of abusing his power. A grand jury indicted him today for threatening to veto funding for a Texas prosecutor if she didn't resign. District Attorney Rosemary Lehmberg had been convicted of drunken driving. Perry had said that if Lehmberg didn't step down, he'd withhold seven-and-a-half-million dollars from the Travis County District Attorney's office. Lehmberg refused, and Perry vetoed the funds. He's charged with abuse of official capacity and coercion of a public servant.
