(Undated) -- A new study says climate change is going to ruin Hawaii. The study by the University of Hawaii predicts higher average temperatures, warmer and more acidic oceans, and disrupted rain patterns leading to periods of drought, heavy rain and flooding. The biggest predicted change is a rise in sea levels that study authors say could push the shoreline hundreds of yards inland, with the Pacific wiping out Waikiki's beaches and flooding streets now filled with high-rise hotels and high-end shops and restaurants. The Hawaii Tourism Authority paid for the study.
