(Honolulu, HI) -- Three sailors caught in Hurricane Julio are safe, after a container ship was diverted to rescue them. Sixty-one-year-old Ben Neely, his 22-year-old son Lee and 22-year-old family friend Mike Vanway sailed from Long Beach, California three weeks ago and were planning to stop in Maui on their way to Asia. But their 42-foot sailboat Walkabout was severely damaged on Sunday, and the Matson vessel Manukai pulled them aboard. They're expected to arrive in Honolulu Harbor early today.
