Serial Stowaway Gets Jail Time
(Los Angeles, CA) -- A serial stowaway who snuck onto a flight from San Jose to Los Angeles will spend time behind bars. Superior Court Judge Alan Rubin spoke before sentencing Marilyn Hartman to 177 days in jail on Wednesday.
She was initially arrested August 4th after she managed to board a Southwest Airlines flight in San Jose without a ticket or boarding pass and take it to LAX. She pled no contest to misdemeanor charges two days later and promised to stay away from LAX, only to be caught at the airport the next day.
