(Maui, HI) -- A man's racially charged rant that ended up on the Internet could lead to serious charges. The incident began when a 21-year-old man started yelling at a Kihei couple and their friends at Kalama Beach Park after they reprimanded the man for throwing something at a dog on the park. The suspect is captured on video yelling a stream of profane and racial comments toward the group, including some ramblings about "white people" taking land. The man who posted the video to YouTube tells "Hawaii News Now" he was shocked by the incident and says he's been living on Maui for over a year without any problems. Maui police say they are investigating the incident, and the man on the tape could see charges ranging from harassment, to terroristic threatening as a hate crime.
