Plane Engine Manufacturer Slapped With Lawsuit By Estate Of Loretta Fuddy

(Honolulu, HI) -- Plane engine supplier Pratt and Whitney Canada is being slapped with a lawsuit by the estate of Loretta Fuddy. The Hawaii Health Department director died when a small plane she was a passenger on crashed in the waters off Molokai last year. The suit claims the company new there were problems with their engines losing power due to issues with the turbine blades. Hawaii News Now reports Fuddy survived the plane crash but died while waiting to be rescued of cardiac arrythmia.
