(New York, NY) -- It could take up to two days to determine whether a patient at New York City's Mount Sinai Hospital is suffering from the Ebola virus. Blood samples from the man are being sent to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta. Mount Sinai Chief Medical Officer Jeremy Boal said it's unlikely the patient has Ebola and is probably suffering from something else that would cause a fever. For now, the patient is being held in isolation to prevent the illness from spreading.
