(Honolulu, HI) -- A Kauai man will be spending a year in jail for drunk driving. Authorities say 37-year-old Jonathan Swift was sentenced yesterday to one year behind bars and five years' probation. He was accused of slamming into a pedestrian in Princeville and then driving away. Swift was arrested, and investigators found he had a blood alcohol level that was point-zero-two above the legal limit. The victim, a man from Arizona, suffered a fractured clavicle, a fractured rib and a detached retina.
