(Honolulu, HI) -- There are no more debates for Senator Brian Schatz and Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa before the August primary. The Democratic candidates for Hawaii senator participated in their final one last night. Schatz criticized Hanabusa's legislative experience, saying she talks about her record in the state Senate because she hasn't been active in Congress. Hanabusa then criticized Schatz, claiming he embellishes his record in the Senate. Schatz says his best accomplishment was helping to end a labor dispute at United Airlines that kept jobs at airports in Hawaii. Hanabusa said hers is her work on Hawaii-related provisions in the National Defense Authorization Act for 2015.
