(Honolulu, HI) -- Five bills that would have banned folks from urinating or lying on Honolulu sidewalks are being shelved. The City Council's Zoning and Planning Committee decided yesterday to defer the bills. Chairman of the committee Ikaika Anderson says before the items go in front the panel again he would like the administration to provide details on plans for housing the homeless. Two of the bills were backed by Mayor Kirk Caldwell.
