(Honolulu, HI) -- An affordable housing project for low-income seniors is expected to break ground soon. The "Honolulu Star-Advertiser" reports construction will begin for the rental housing now that a tax credit was approved. Yesterday, the Hawaii Housing Finance and Development Corporation approved tax credits for a 76-unit first phase of the three-story project called Meheula Vista. That's one-point-two-million-dollars in federal credits and 600-thousand in state credits.
