WILMINGTON, Del. (AP) — A jury will resume deliberations today in a lawsuit filed against members of a University of Delaware fraternity by the parents of a pledge who died of alcohol poisoning in 2008.
Jurors in the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the parents of 18-year-old Brett Griffin of Kendall Park, N.J., deliberated for about 90 minutes yesterday before going home.
DOVER, Del. (AP) — The Air Force is warning neighbors of Dover Air Force Base that members of the explosive ordinance disposal flight are scheduled to conduct demolition training. Training is set to take place at the base this afternoon.
DOVER, Del. (AP) — Delaware State University has suspended all activities of the school's band music groups amid an investigation of alleged hazing. The suspension announced yesterday involves all band performances, including those of the DSU Approaching Storm marching band, the DSU Jazz Ensembles, the concert band and pep bands.
